I liked the breakfast cup recipe, I tweaked it to fit our family. I often use recipes as a springboard to make other things!

Recently found on another blog this recipe has become a quick favorite and is from Gooseberry Patch to boot...

★4. Ribbon Salad★

source: Gooseberry Patch "Jolly Holiday" Cookbook
(Ribbon Salad by Doris Stegner, Gooseberry Patch)

6 cups water
6 3-oz boxes gelatin, different flavors and colours (I used 6 x 85g boxes)
16-oz carton sour cream (I used 1 x 500ml tub)

Bring water to a boil. Dissolve one box of gelatin in one cup boiling water. Reserve 1/3 cup gelatin mixture and pour remaining in an 8" square dish. When gelatin is set, mix the reserved 1/3 cup of gelatin with 1/3 cup of sour cream and spread over set gelatin. When the sour cream layer has set, repeat layering with the remaining ingredients until salad has 12 layers.

VERDICT: THIS IS DELICIOUS!!! I admit it sounds extremely weird to add sour cream and jello, though I guarantee you won't know the difference nor will you want to share this. YES, IT'S THAT GOOD!!!

This takes up every bit of an 8" square dish. I used peach, raspberry, orange, lemon, lime and grape. Though time consuming to prepare, it is well worth the effort and makes for a striking presentation when served. The children both LOVED it!!!

Please count me in!!!

It was a bit ago but there was a recipe for Cream of Chicken soup at least the base. I have been obsessed with that soup lately.
